Kids Program

The daytime children's program is structured around setting goals and developing self-confidence and discipline. Plus, it's a lot of fun!

The children's program consists of classes for beginner, intermediate, and advanced young students at the Portland and Beaverton Academies.

Adult Program

Adults Program

Daytime and evening classes for adults are available every day. Classes consist of programs for self-defense, competition, and exercise for men and women at both Portland and Beaverton Academies.


Gracie Technics Jiu-Jitsu

We are honored to partner with Gracie Technics Jiu-Jitsu, which offers classes with a focus on self-defense and allows you to build a solid Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu foundation. These classes are for adults only at the Beaverton Academy. Find out more about Gracie Technics Jiu-Jitsu.

Hapkido Throw


Learn some practical, real world self defense. Hapkido teaches a variety of techniques including, but not limited to: joint locks, pressure points, throws and strikes. All levels welcome, classes are catered for adults and teens at the Portland Academy.

Kali Classe

Kali & Jeet Kwon Do

Instructor John Daniels instructs traditional Philippine Double Stick Fighting, with hand to hand combat derived from Bruce Lee’s Jeet Kwon Do. Classes will cover the use of bo-staff, knives, nunchucku and short sword. Classes are suitable for all ages, ranks and experience at the Portland Academy.

Kali Classe

Kosho Ryu Karate

Learn the way to manipulate structure and balance from an opponent in this Internal Martial Arts form. It is practiced as a soft art, making it accessible for persons with physical disabilities. Classes are catered to adults and teens of all levels at the Portland Academy.
